Morgan was featured in a Safe Sex for Men and Women educational video that focused on AIDS Education and Prevention. The proceeds were donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the driving force behind numerous fund-raising efforts for the spread of the disease. She also spoke before an Congressional special committee on AIDS education. She sits part of the Board of Governors of APLA and the Board of Directors of Amfar. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has asked her on occasion to fill in for him during AIDS occasions and has presented an AIDS Awareness Special featuring news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her two times about AIDS in Nightline. Morgan has won the Emmy award for Diane English's special Murphy Brown episode that was made specifically for Morgan. This spring, Morgan costarred with Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC TV. The summer began by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. It was also co-starring Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Her next project took Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared in the roles of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan was also in the psychological thriller produced for USA Network. The film was a huge success and received the highest ratings ever.
